[Personal]
I'm back to taking the sleep aids Dr. Pierce prescribed when I first saw him. Talking...helps, but it always feels like there's more; that the wellspring of nightmares is endless. But they weren't all bad experiences, were they? I learned so much, saw more things than someone my age could ever...well, dream. I wonder why it's always the negative experiences that stay with me, though? What about Salia, getting to know the Captain, Commander Riker, Data, and Geordi? And most importantly, the fact that we always made it through in the end.
I still mean what I told the Captain. No matter how it ends, if this is how it ends, it was an honor to serve with Jean Luc Picard. And I know that he's proud of me, and so is mom, even now. I'll always miss them, but if I really am going to fin a way home, it has to start the way it started on the Enterprise. I need to pace myself; I need to do what needs to be done, and then get back to the important things.
Speaking of which, the rail gun is in working order, or, the Pakleds will think so. I'll have to talk to Dairine at lunch about getting to Pythia to make the exchange. Once I have the sensory array booster they're giving me, modifications to the tri-corder will be complete. We'll finally be able to pin-point whatever the heck it was Spot sensed near the ravine. Progress, at last!
[Priority to Adam Carter]
I feel like I should have said this sooner, but, thanks, Adam. I'm glad you were out that night.
[Priority to Troy Bolton]
Hey! Have you seen the cast list from auditions yet? I never really had the chance to say anything, but I thought you did great.
